great stuff Submitted on: 2009-07-18 |

| I became a fan of Webb Pierce the moment I heard "More and More". He has a vocal range that immediately hits me pretty hard. I recommend picking up anything you can by this wonderful country musician and experience what it's like to hear a man who knows how to sing with passion, excitement, and emotion. |

Really Great Country Submitted on: 2009-02-21 |

A pioneer in country music. He had a Cadillac decked out with longhorns on the hood and silver dollars on the seats. And wow, could he hit the high notes. I'm sure you will know there is no other voice like Webb Pierce, and I don't think another will come along any time soon.
If you like real country music, then this is for you. I like all the songs, but my personal favorite is There Stands the Glass. If you get this CD along with the RCA original hits of Don Gibson and Connie Smith, then you begin to have a flavor of what REAL country is like. Somehow I can't get into the new country music. It's just not the same. Buy this CD and go back and revisit some really great songs. I hope they make a comeback. There's a new market waiting out there. |

As good as ever Submitted on: 2007-07-15 |

I can remember as a kid I would sit in front of my mother's stereo and listen to the old time country music. My favorite was Webb Pierce. Whenever my mom would pull out her albums to play I would always say let's hear Webb Pierce first.
This collection is some of the finest material of Webb Pierce's music. My favorite songs are "Wondering", "There Stands The Glass", "In The Jailhouse Now", "I Don't Care", "Why Baby Why", and "I Ain't Never". Sounds ever better than it did when I was little. The music here is very clear and sounds great. This CD is among my favorite CD's in my collection. If you like good ole country music then this CD is for you. |

Honky Tonk Music Submitted on: 2006-09-16 |

| I bought this CD after I bought another Webb Pierce CD, which he recorded as an older and yes even as an old man he was a honky tonk hero. And it didnt have kick I wanted and I know Webb was a great county singer. But as for this CD the songs are great and its nice to be able to hear the real deal and a real country song about the hurt and heart ache. This CD is great. |
