Customer Reviews of This Album/CD

Good album but not the best
Submitted on: 2005-12-31
Great album for any fan of the casualties. I'd have to say Die hards is my favorite of theirs, So check that out if you don't have it already.

And XckydisengageX, well with a name like that you really shouldnt be commenting about trends. hah. but anyway don't say punk is dead because you don't like the casualties look into it it's not dead, theres a lot of punk bands out there who dont even have songs about politics, and i'm not talking about the crap that passes for "punk" on mtv, so alas, do some research before you bash 'punk' saying it's dead and trendy.
on a last note If i may recall i see more skater wannabe emo kids wearing cky shirts running arround the malls waiting for the latest fashion at hot topic to come in stalk.

Had to let that one out.
The album that revived punk into the 21st century

Ok, perhaps I'm going overboard on the title of the review but, this album was it for the casualties that gave the punk scene a kick in the (...) and proved they were here to stay!! Ok, this version that's now available is the punkcore remastered which the album actually didn't have any problems on the recording but, they call it a remaster anyways...Has some extra bonus pictures. (punkcore seems big on pictures) Twas a duel rerelease origionally on punkcore 02 and charged 04 (charged be the label ran by Jake of the Casualties)
Heres the tracks that be on this CD:
1 Unemployed
2 No Rules
3 Stay Out of Order
4 Sell Out Society
5 No Room For the Youth
6 Underground Army (origionally by The Threats)
7 Rejected & Unwanted
8 American Justice
9 Political Sin (an older song from the early years finally recorded properly)
10 Kill Everyone
11 Here Today...
12 Punx Unite

Ok for you collectors here's a rundown on this LP
Came out first on TribalWar records. This version had on the cover three young teens with mohawks in a black and white photo. Back cover had a chop and paste with the members and the classic style slop listing of the tracks. Inside booklet has info on TribalWar records and copyright Casualties all songs with threats copyright on Underground Army and if you open booklet up has lyrics to all songs minus underground army. But, theres also a very rare hand made version done by the members themselves with a custom cover Jorge on the left pissing on a wall and on the right Jake with a huge orange hawk. Back of the CD has the picture that later was used also on the "Who's in Control" 7" Inside cover has same backing as regular but, instead of copyrights has a paste over tribalwar logo and states contact info for Charged Records. Open booklet up and theres no lyrics just blank white. Theres only a hundred of these handmade version of the underground cd....Good luck on finding one....If you want to know about all the versions released on LP just drop a line....

punk is dead, enough said. all trhey do is play 3 power chords in a repeeated pattern and whine about politics this is what punk is then? huh something soooo trendy its dead beyond reason. to be punk iso to not even be notified, dress as a punk its just to change. its a rebellious/defensive attitude. not a mohawk or spike or whatever dude this band/music genre is really lame.let it go
pretty good

this is a pretty good cd though i would expect more outta the casualities. I heard alotta good comments about this cd, but after i bought it i really didnt like it that much. I only gave it a 5 cause the casualties r an awesome band. But the only good songs r punx unite and underground army. U might like more as alotta ppl do but i wouldnt recommend getting this cd.
not as good as people say , but it's still great

Everywhere I go...this seems to be the #1 fan favorite. And honestly i'm clueless to why. Now this is not a bad album. It's a great album. But compared to the others , why is this one the favorite? I really don't know , maybe they have better taste then I do , I don't know. Now the reason is. This album seems to be 1 long monotone noise. It has 12 songs , and only about 4 of them are really memorable enough to wanna keep playing the same song . Those songs being " Here Today" , "Underground Army" , "Punx Unite" , "Kill Everyone". The rest are not bad songs at all..they're just not particulary memorable. It's still great..just i'm a little confused to why this is the popular choice.
