Love the music so much just... LOVE it!
Oh! and for the record, I heard and loved the music before I found out that the woman were pretty, in fact, at first I thought that men were behind this little gem!
Some people envy those who were not hit with the ugly stick, sad to see such bitter angry people over the way someone looks.

Pure drivel Submitted on: 2004-12-19 |

This is some of the worst schlock I've heard in years. The Bond girls may have had classical training, but just going to music school doesn't make you a good musician.
Their late-night TV commercials alone are enough to make you want to hurl. Dressed in skimpy clothing, whipping their hair around, making melodramatic flourishes with their bows, they're supposed to be so rapturously distracted by their music that they don't realize their legs are open and they're flashing their black panty-covered crotches at the world. Excuse me while I puke.
The sad part is, the commercials are the most entertaining aspect of Bond. The "music" they play is pure cheese. They use their sex appeal to sell records. Sad enough that there are enough no-talent pop stars using sex to flog inferior music, but for the once-proud classical genre, it's a tragedy.
For those who gush over Bond, ask yourselves this: would you still buy the CDs and go to the concerts if they were four fat middle-aged women with wrinkles, stretch marks, and saggy mammaries?
I didn't think so. |

Bond's debut album gets better Submitted on: 2003-08-11 |

This special edition of the superb classically influnced quartet's debut album is better than the original. Unlike its predecessor released in countries including the UK, France, Germany and the US, this special Asian Edition is full of extras including songs like Wintersun and Viva! For someone new to the most sucessful string quartet in the world, this is the perfect CD. Not only are you exposed to the wonderful music Bond has created, but a bonus CD is included, featuring three music videos and an interview plus remixes of Viva! and Korobushka, as performed at the Royal Albert Hall for the Classical Brit Awards. Although the CD is in VCD format, it can usually be played in most US DVD players or on a computer. Bond's music is a unique blend of classical music fused with world influences, dance, folk, and contemporary music. These four girls put a modern twist to classical music. Bond's sound welcomes new listeners to classical music, giving these listeners a new ear to listen to other classical artists. Songs like Victory and Quixote will have you dancing non-stop and mellow tracks like Hymn and Oceanic will help you relax after a hard day. With the mix of songs on this album, there's something for everyone; folk tunes like Alexander the Great and Korobushka, and true classical-crossover songs like Wintersun and Duel. There's even an excellent cover of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. Overall, this album gets 5 stars for its eclectic sound and open diversity to different styles of music. It's hard to catagorize their music so we're just gonna call it Bond Music. Bond's sophomore release, Shine is an excellent continuation to Bond's music, expanding the classical-crossover style Bond is so famous for! |
