| 4 Strings is Carlo Resoort, Jan De Vos, and Vanessa on vocals. Although the group makes commercial trance, the focus here is Hiver & Hammer's Different Gear Remix (9:23), which sure as hell ain't commercial-sounding. This is my favorite version of Diving, and it may also be the reason why this is my favorite of 4 Strings' singles. The guys of H&H transform a sleepy trancer into massive, big-room sound. The bass rolls off my walls, that's how powerful it is. When they slow the music down, they also allow Vanessa to shine on vocals. Hiver & Hammer at their best. |
