| Everyday this disc drops $.01 for months now. The regular version of synchronized is an amazing disc from an amazing band that cant seem to shake the Sabbath stigma. First Steve sounds nothing like ozzy sure they covered Sabbath songs in the beginning, but lets see. Sheavy has been together with virtually no line up changes far longer than ozzy was with Sabbath and released more discs than ozzy did . Second sheavy is not doom in any way(they dont even do Iommi riffs for crying out loud). Third the more you listen to Sheavy the more they sound like Sheavy. After years of searching for what the bonus track is(there has never been a listing for it which was why i never purchased years ago when in print) the song is :sounds like interstellar. yeah its an alright song but not worth the double price tag of the regular edition. Rise above records seems to have this fixation with Japan and feels that they should be the only ones to get bonus songs. if you really love this band and cant live without it then hey spend the 40 bucks or so. But i would get the Jap version of rise 13 comp which has a kick a*s bonus sheavy tune(cerebral astronaut) or the celestial hi/fi jap version with 2 bonus songs(el camino real and nine december) and i did find that one on amazon and played my cards right and got it for less than what it cost when still available and it was brand spanking new. Sheavy also has a new disc coming out soon and from what the band has emailed me its going to be good, some line up changes but hey nothing lasts forever. and change can be a good thing |
