These women, who found fame while busking to raise money for voice lessons, are true artists. Most of the songs they sing on this album are meant for a soloist, but the way they turn them to duets has changed the way I view many of these songs. They have such an ethereal sound that it's almost magical listening to it.
I bought this album sight unseen. I'd heard of them and was curious. One of the better purchases I've ever made. |

"Opera Babes" gives you a nice visual image of at least two attractive women with some association with opera. Since this is an audio disk, that's basically all you have for a visual, unless you are odd and wish to stare obsessively at the disc jacket.
But the sound -- oh, the sound is quintessentially feminine, seductive, alluring, and yes, operatic. If you find yourself carried away by passionate singing, this album is marvelous. |

| I have enjoyed this CD from the first time I heard a copy I had borrowed from our city library. I have heard both pro's and con's concerning the singing capability of these two ladies. Personally I have enjoyed this CD for many many hours and I cannot wait (actually I will have to) to get the next CD (used). |

| overorchestrated, overproduced aural wallpaper...that said, still, these women have wonderful voices and are worth hearing. They are oversold,too...Opera Babes! Indeed. Folks who like Enya will like this. |
