my favorite song EVER Submitted on: 2009-03-05 |

| THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG - No es lo mismo. While listening to music over the years, I often tell my husband that a song is on the list of my one-thousand, or one-hundred favorites; because I like so many songs, there was no way to choose which song was better or best - until I heard this song - it is absolutely at the top of my list. This song is it! It has everything. Thank you Alejandro. |

The best of Sanz Submitted on: 2007-12-19 |

| This is my favourite album of Alejandro Sanz, with beautifully created songs in particular Sandy a Orilla do Mundo (my favourite Sanz song), Al Olvido Invito Yo (an incredibly intense song which sends shivers down your spine) Regalame La Silla, Lo Dire Bajito and Eso. I really can't understand anyone who says this album is no good, because in point of fact it's brilliant. Oh well, I suppose there's no accounting for taste. |

I could not listen to it twice. Alejandro Sanz has cantado muy mal Submitted on: 2007-10-26 |

This album "no es lo mismo" is not like any of his previous albums. It has the feel of a commercial album to fulfill a contract (pressure) from his label company. The songs do not have much words on them and most of songs sound the same (boring). Alejandro Sanz has done a fantastic job in Viviendo Deprisa, 3, Mas, but this is his worst album so far. He needs to go back to songs with great lyrics such as the ones in his previous albums.
My recommendation, don't buy this album. If you would like to know about Alejandro Sanz, his albums "Viviendo de Prisa", "Mas", and "3" are great,. His MTV Unplugged is also a great live album. |

Diversity+Passion= Alexpanding musical adventures Submitted on: 2007-03-02 |

What can Alex Sanz do after writting one of the greatest latin-pop songs ever (Corazon Partió), produce an excelent unplugged performance and become one of the greatest selling spanish artist ever?
The answer: No Es lo Mismo, translates to something like Not The Same (Thing). And it is very aptly titled. Maturity as an artist is what Sanz brings on this album. OK, still the romantiticky ballads are there, but if you listen closely, its more intricate, more polished conceptually, long gone are the days of the "canta autor" image that soooooo many latin artist never shed and made them extinct. For those new here, like Shakira, Aleks Sanz is at the cutting edge of a nuevo Latin pop that is defined by globalization. The element that defines this album is diversity, but what makes it beautiful is passion. Listen to the Try To Save Your Song, could be the atmosphere of New York on a hot summer day as well as Miami, Playa Del Carmen, Ibiza or Buenos Aires. Highly recommended. |
