| The inevitable follow-up to "30 #1 Hits" has been delivered, and while offering superb remastering and a hefty collection of Elvis' lesser hits, the concept behind this collection is unclear. Whereas "30 #1's" was clearly a collection of number one singles, "2nd" is more of a hodgepodge of top ten hits, movie soundtrack favorites, and latter-day concert staples. All of which is fine, but perhaps not the marketing whallop that BMG was undoutedly looking for. Worth purchasing simply for the upgraded sound quality, "2nd" will most likely be followed by additional Elvis complilations, designed to introduce today's musical youth to the huge Elvis catalog. For that reason alone, "2nd" is a #1 choice. |

Elvis 2ND TO NONE- Great Music. Submitted on: 2009-11-06 |

| It's too bad people are still milking Elvis and others like him many years later, But Elvis was/is one of the best, I am not a Huge Fan, not even a Big Fan. I like some of his songs. Trouble is my Favorite song. and "your always on my Mind" Believe it or not I am 27 and Glenn Danzig's Music Got me into it, Has A Couple good tracks and 1 Unreleased . and it's not expensive, Recommend to anyone even the Casual fan. R.I.P. Elvis. |

| Very good sample of Elvis hits. I drove 13 hours recently and played this and the Essential 3.0 in the car. The hours flew by. |

Better sounding! Submitted on: 2008-07-13 |

| The disc sounds much better than most of the re-released, remastered, etc... stuff BMG has put out in the 80's and 90's! |

Best Jewish Singer Since Sinatra Submitted on: 2008-05-17 |
|
| Elvis, who was a young Jewish singer from the heart of Israel in the 50's, although some say he is still living in the USA today, has been accepted with worldwide acclaim (except in Mongolia) and he has surpassed his numerous "hits" packages and written entirely new "old" material in this latest album from the Mega-Star. Hits include the beautiful but sporadic, "In my Pants", "Passion Thong", "Elba and You" and the dance hit, "When She Was Blind". Great added tracks include him drunk at a bar singing a Cash song with his pants on his head in 1968. |
