| I saw Cherie in concert when she was opening for Clay Aiken. She's a great singer and performer. Reminded me of a young Celine Dion. Her debut album is a great mix of dance tunes and pop ballads. Aimed at teens but adults will enjoy it too. |

I wish I could rate this album with more than 5 stars! I think this is the best album I ever heard.
1.- I'M READY: Her first hit, an excelent beat, great lyrics too.
2.- SAY YOU LOVE ME:A nice and romantic song, very deep.
3.- OLDER THAN MY YEARS: The best song ever! It reminds me someone I know.
4.- IT'S YOUR LOVE: Specially if you are in love, you should hear it.
5.- I BELIEVE IN YOU: Nice beat, and cool lyrics.
6.- BETCHA NEVER: Excelent lyrics, a nice arabian sound.
7.- BODY, SOUL & HEART: Perfect song! cool lyrics.
8.- I BELONG: Dedicated for someone she loves.
9.- FOOL: Perfect lyrics, voice and sound.
10.- RUSH: Cool beat and lyrics.
11.- THE PROMISE: Great song!
12.-MY WAY BACK HOME: The lst song, deep and full of Cherie's voice and energy.

 An outright and dastardly rip-off of Foreigner

I heard "I'm Ready" at least fifteen times before I finally knew who sang it. Every time it played I thought "Oh, this is Foreigner's 'Urgent', eh?" NO WAY! Cherie just samples the riff from that song, and adds new words. I CAN'T FREAKIN' BELIEVE SHE JUST BLATANTLY RIPS IT OFF FROM THEM!! DOES SHE THINK PEOPLE AREN'T GOING TO KNOW?
Hey, whatever, Cherie! Enjoy your 15 SECONDS of fame, because you obviously have no talent or freakin' originality. ANYONE WHO BUYS THIS ALBUM IS CONTRIBUTING TO THIEVERY OF ROCK MUSIC CLASSICS BY STUPID, LAZY PRODUCERS.
If this is the least you expect from your music, consumer, GOD made a mistake giving you ears and a fat wallet. |
