They're no Avett Brothers Submitted on: 2009-10-12 |

| I became familiar with these guys after hearing them on Pandora. Wagon Wheel is an excellent song, and others (notably Tell It To Me) are just about as intriguing. However, they're no Avett Brothers! They're one trick pony sound is fine if that's what you're wanting, but they're not versatile. |

| I Love this CD. We listen to it over and over... Wagon Wheel is everyone's favorite. All of my friends that aren't typically country/bluegrass even listen to it! I can only describe OCMS as country-bluegrass-string band type music, which sounds weird i know, but give them a chance and you'll be hooked.... |

Tell It To Me! Submitted on: 2008-09-24 |

I heard these guys for the first time on NPR's Prairie Home Companion. Their rendition of "Wagon Wheel," the last track on this disc, was the perfect tune to be listening to, while riding down the road towards home. The disc as a whole is nearly perfect. Balanced, bluegrass harmonies and skillful musicianship blend to create a disc that I have listened to hundreds of times, never growing tired.
Especially great is the rendition of "CC Rider" the best version of that classic since Ray Charles. Also fantastic are "Take 'em Away" and "Tell It To Me," but there isn't a bad track on the album. |

| Like hearing the old-time bluegrass with a contemporary spin. I think they target younger audiences but older folks may enjoy - just tune out the drug parts. |
