Not much separates Tracy from the rest Submitted on: 2005-09-05 |

| Yet today this CD is ranked over #22000 on Amazon, yet Toby Keith's in ranked #95. But honestly, this CD is better!! So, you get artists like Tracy and David Lee Murphy who are just as good if not better than Toby Keith (all equally great in my book), but such a huge commerical discrepancy doesn't make sense. Buy this album so we have can have parity in the universe!! Or, stop buying Toby's. Cheers!! |

Not as Strong as you would expect Submitted on: 2005-03-12 |

| Tracy Lawerence has to be one of my favorite country artist. I almost bought this album new. I would have not been happy to have spent $18 on this CD. It is a good album, and if you like Tracy, well it is a better than good country album. The song that help me to buy the album was Paint me a Birmingham. It is a super song, but with the exception of maybe 2 others, there is just a lot of genric type songs on this album. Strong was an alright song. Stones would probably be my second top song on this album, and notice you have not heard it on the radio. Only buy this album at a full price if you love Tracy. It is a good album for less than $5. Thanks |

Great 2-Step Music!!! Submitted on: 2005-02-17 |

| Sawdust on Her Halo is a fabulous song to shuffle!!! Strong is a very emotional album that seems to really show Tracy's affection for women. I would recommend it to every female I know (and I already know the guys like it!!). There isn't a song on the album that I didn't like. A must-have to add to your Tracy Lawrence and country music collections!!! |

Tracy Lawrence Makes a "STRONG" Return Submitted on: 2005-01-27 |

Tracy Lawrence has one of those voices that is so familiar with every album. And so distinguishable that you know it's him the moment you hear his song. He can easily wrap around your emotions and get right to the core of your feelings. He truly has the "Country Sound", and this CD proves that from some songs that sound like the older traditional country that he does best and some that are the modern sound from today.
This CD touches on many subjects from family, love, heartbreak, and things that happen in ordinary people's lives. There's something for everyone to relate too. Along with a couple tracks that include that infamous "growl" that makes Tracy unique.
A CD has never been more appropriately named than "Strong" is for Tracy Lawrence. If you are a fan of Country music or Tracy Lawrence you need to give his new album "Strong a Listen"

Only because i can't give 0 stars Submitted on: 2005-01-22 |

i am not a big country fan. I like some stuff (Mainly Tim McGraw, Toby Keith & Dixie Chicks) I do like "songs" of certain artists.
Tracy Lawrence is one of those people I like certain songs. Alibis, If The World Had A Front Porch, Renegades, Rebels & Rogues, Texas Tornado & Time Marches On.
I own 3 of his cd's. I had 4 until i sold this one on ebay. I have never heard such garbage. "Paint Me A Birmingham" what the hell is that?! I thought he had at least some talent, but tripe like Birmingham is awful. The rest of the cd fares no better. I would do one of my usual reviews where i do song by song but i can't find anything nice to say about any, that's ANY song on this CD.
Coincidentally, i saw him live on the rocking the roadhouse tour a few years back with Mark Chesnutt & Joe Diffie. Not a bad talent live. Maybe he should go back to the way he was. |
