 An Excellent Collection Of Her Best Hits So Far!

This is a perfect introduction to anyone new to the amazing talent of Lee Ann Womack.Traditional country with a contemporary sound.
All her greats are here like her ballads Never Again Again,The Fool,I Hope You Dance,Why They Call It Falling and her duet with Willie Nelson Mendocino Country Line.
As well as her great uptempos You've Got To Talk To Me,(Now You See Me)Now You Don't,Ashes By Now,the very witty I'll Think Of A Reason Later and the cracking Does My Ring Burn Your Finger.
She also includes 2 new recordings to round off the album-The Wrong Girl and Time For Me To Go.Both great songs!
You can't go wrong with this cd of one of country's best female artists... |

| This is an excellent greatest hits collection from LeAnn Womack, and I say this as a person who was not initially into country music. The song selection for this compilation was excellent, most every one is very good. I can put it in the player and just let it go. There's no fill to skip over. The songs are a mix of the energetic and the reflective, and LeAnn can do both. She's got a voice that's very good for country music. A worthy item in a collection of female country artists. |

Ok I admit I've never been a country music fan. UNTIL NOW! Love the title track "I Hope You Dance" but this CD is ALL GOOD!
Not a bad track on here. Beginning at Never Again, Again all the way to "Time For Me To Go". There are some real gems here.
It's hard to pick an actual favorite but some of my favs are: (not necessarily in personal fav order)
The Fool
A Little Past Little Rock (OK,OK my current favorite)
Now You See Me Now You Don't
I'll Think of a Reason Later
Ashes By Now
Something Worth Leaving Behind

Something Worth Leaving Behind, Ashes By Now, Mendocino County Line...
Although the rest of this CD is fantastic, the first 3 songs I listed make this CD worth the price.
Every time I hear Ashes By Now I can't help but crank up the volume to get the full effect of her voice and the music.
She is one talented lady... {Gotta give a little credit to Rodney Crowell, who wrote Ashes By Now, That man writes the most kick ass songs in the world} Even without "I Hope You Dance". Which, by the way, is also a great tune.
I don't think I've ever listened to a better Greatest Hits CD from an artist that hasn't been around all that long.
