I love this album....I first bought his newer album "sabotage gigante".
And I loved it. I had a hard time finding this one, but man this is an absolute classic. The beats, the rhymes and everything are top notch stuff.
If you are a fan of def jux you would be insane not to get this album. |

Synth-hop bliss. Submitted on: 2009-02-10 |

| I bought this CD because I recently got Sonic Sum's Sanity Annex and loved it. This album is a completely different flavor, but Rob Sonic's production skills have really grown on me with repeated listens. His beat lab style is pretty unique. It's equal parts Boom Bap and 80s tinged synthesizer heaven. The album is moderately reminiscent of Fantastic Damage in that lone respect, but the flavor and delivery are completely different. Sonic's lyrics and delivery are dense and convoluted, but always interesting to listen to. He's much like Aesop Rock or El-P in that regard. A "B-Boy brainiac that'll smack you out yer mittens". This album comes off as very complete and leaves you wanting to taste more of Rob's work. He's a do-it-all artist, and his many skills shine on this disk. Highlights: Superball, Behemoth, Sniper Picnic, Shoplift, Location is Everything |

Terrible CD Submitted on: 2008-01-09 |

| I liked one song that had a great beat and vocals, then I realized that the dude is rapping about nothing? You have some talent there, very little, but you rap about nothing. Need more substance. |

Incredible... Submitted on: 2006-02-03 |

| my parents got me this album for christmas 04, and to be quite frank, its dope like heroin, period. The spaced out beats and lyrics are crafted together brilliantly, with absolutely zero filler whatsoever. The lyrics dont contain a general message per se, but individual ideas scattered throughout the songs make for a very interesting listen...this album is probably my 2nd favorite hiphop album ever...my favorite being billy woods "the chalice"...all in all, if youre looking at these reviews, just buy the album and enjoy, its one of the best. |

| How can anything after the release of the this album even be mentioned as a work of art? I slept on this album for a year cuz I saw it under the electronica genere. Now that I bought it, I found it to be completely 100% hip-hop circa 2004 and what it should be. New and fresh as a brand new pair of draws, this is the album of the year and best all around in the new mnillenium, its that good. |
