Not His Best Submitted on: 2009-04-29 |

| Christmas songs were not Sinatra's strength, especially as he got older. His Christmas songs with Columbia had nice moments, and several of the Captial holiday recordings are quite good, but his voice seemed to lack the warmth necessary to evoke real seasonal spirit. This recordings suffer in many cases from a "made for TV" artificiality. And he succumbed to the temptation to involve his significantly less talented children. The result is a very mixed bag. Better to stick with the earlier material, and let Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and others do the real holiday heavy lifting. |

So Sorry Submitted on: 2008-09-18 |

| I enjoy Frank, I enjoy crooners. This cd has a number of very good songs on it, however, it has some that are not as enjoyable. It is nice to hear Mr. Sinatra and the family sing some songs together, however, they aren't really great to listen to more than once. I'm terribly sorry I didn't like it. Again there are a lot of good tunes on this cd, just be preparred for a few you won't always want to listen to. |

Sinatra at Christmas Submitted on: 2008-01-14 |

| GREAT Christmas music. Very upbeat and great to play at your Christmas parties. Or simply listen to it while haning out w/ the family around the Christmas tree. There is nothing like a little Sinatra at Christmas. |

More Sinatra classics Submitted on: 2007-12-29 |

| I have never found Sinatra's version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on any other CD. Since 2005 that song has been played at a banquet that is held at the kickoff of the Christmas season with I club to which I belong. Some of the songs include Sinatra and his kids singing together. "A Holly Jolly Christmas from Frank Sinatra" includes most of the other songs you would want as well. This album includes most of the songs forgotten on the other albums. |

EXCELLENT!! ALSO CHECK OUT *A JOLLY CHRISTMAS*!! Submitted on: 2007-12-11 |

| Frank Sinatra is my favorite singer of all-time and I have everything he ever recorded, so I am probably biased, but REALLY, I am PICKY about Christmas albums! They have to be good for me to enjoy them, and this one is great!! I am chiefly a fan of Frank's 1950's output, and this features mostly his later recordings, so that should be a strike against it there; however, this is a very tasteful collection that hits the emotional strings beautifully. BUT, DO NOT OVERLOOK Frank's 1957 CLASSIC Christmas album, *A Jolly Christmas* - It is as great as this album - not as diverse, but Frank is in better voice throughout. Check it out. It has the sexiest version of Jingle Bells ever! Also highly recommended: *Christmas Songs By Sinatra* from the 1940's (charming!). (All 3 of his Christmas albums are excellent, for different reasons.) Thanks for reading! |
