| I really like the Rudimental Mix. I find it has a haunting quality that is relaxing. |

This is one of the neatest dance tracks released this year. A great blend of Morcheeba, Moloko and Heather Hedley, Esthero's nasal yet haunting vocals are brilliant against the backdrop of a catchy dance beat. And the lyrics don't exactly hurt this song either, how can anyone go wrong with:
"Battling, battling, these feelings are traveling
Quicker than a flick of lightning, you were tightening
Round my heart and won't slow down
Burning hotter than the world underground
I'm feeling like cupid's fool, what to do?
And the arrow's headed straight for you you"
The stand out mixes on this CD are definitely Jim Albert's Midnight Samba Vocal cut, as well as Morel's Pink Noise Vox. The L.E.X. Sound Factory mix turns this haunting track into a fierce dance floor burning track. Great effort!

Love on first listen Submitted on: 2005-08-08 |

| I have loved this song since first hearing it a few months ago when I bought the album. Excellent upbeat production with sexy lyrics. The Cottonbelly and Rudimacan mixes also make this single a must own for any Esthero/music lover. |

musically uninteresting, so dance mixes don't help much Submitted on: 2005-08-02 |

This isn't the first single by Esthero to make the billboard charts, but it has me equally stumped as to why it does. The vocals and melody are quite forgettable. Actually, they remind me of Nelly Furtado. While most of the mixes are either electronica or soft house, the one that stood out for me was the final mix--LEX Sound Factory Rev-Visited mix. It's a bit more moody and tribal, and the vocals and melody are are the most catchy in this mix. Still not a total club stomper, but not bad. Tracks are:
1. cottonbelly mix (6:26)
2. rudimaican mix (4:25)
3. rudimental mix (5:00)
4. wamdue main mix (6:50)
5. jim albert's midnight samba mix (7:49)
6. morel's pink noise mix (8:24)
7. LEX sound factory mix (9:29) |
