| This is one of my favorite christian albums. Very biblical in their lyrics, using scripture often, and most songs are Christ and Grace centered. I can listen to this and all Watermark albums every day. :) |

| Wow...I just got reconnected with this album recently. Christy Nockels and all others who had a hand in making this album did a fanTAStic job. The lyrics are mainly Biblical and are easily applicable to real-life situations, such as the song Glory Baby whose lyrics are about a mother looking forward to seeing her baby for the first time, but in Heaven, because she had a miscarriage. I've never lost a child prior to birth, but I can better understand how hard it would be to experience something that painful now that I've heard this song. Christy's singing and writing style is unlike any other singing and writing I've heard elsewhere - she's got rhythmic spunk and power and passion and genuine love for then Lord and all of these traits are displayed in her unique artistry. I listen to this album over and over and never get tired of it. Each song has its own personality and purpose and yet all of the songs are united in the fact that they are uplifting and filled with Bible truth. What a great CD! I don't like a lot of the pop music out there, but I adore this album for sure. (If it's not actually part of the pop category, I apologize for saying that it is - I wasn't sure which genre to put it in so I chose pop.) |
