| I don't usually like country music, but this is a masterpiece. I herd the beginning of "Way Down" at the start of a podcast. I bought the MP3 right away. Usually it takes me several listens before I start to really like an album, but this one grabbed me instantly. |

A Perfect Album

I don't often say such a thing as "perfect" about a musical production, but this really is just that. There is not a bad song on the whole album.
Marty Stuart is hit and miss on his honky tonk stuff, but here he shines so bright, surrounded by some of the best people you can put together. You know they believe every word they're singing and it seeps out of the speakers and fills your soul and spirit with a true gospel experience.

| Amazon gave me one of those 2 fer deals with this cd and the Compadres cd, so I took them up on it. Once I played it, it got under my skin, and I have listened to it continuously since! Now my husband has gotten a hold of it and it has had the same effect on him!! The instrumental prowess and harmonies are amazing! Buy it - you won't be sorry! |
