This is a 12-track CD featuring the Banda singer Jenni Rivera. Also included are two music videos along with a digital photo album. I first discovered Jenni when I was stuck in a bad place a few years ago. I had little else to comfort me; but everytime Jenni's music video was played, my heart warmed up.
I didn't know the name of the song; and in fact, I could speak only minimal Spanish. But no matter, her music spoke a beautiful language that I understood beyond conventional words. I eventually discovered that the song I loved was called "De Contrabando". So I picked up this CD the first chance I could.
So although I only like a small handful of songs on this CD, the ones that I do like, I really cherish. Jenni is a beautiful, charasmatic woman and it is a great experience to get to listen to her music. So get her CD and enjoy some Banda music, Jenni Rivera style! |
