 You've got to see it!

I went to see the Jersey Boys on stage, and I just loved the show. I ordered the CD so I could enjoy the music at home. (I had done the same thing with both the stage and screen versions of Mama Mia! and really enjoyed the CDs at home.)
What I realized is that the thrill of Jersey Boys is watching the action on the stage, the synchronization of the movements. The CD is good, but to really enjoy it, you got to see it.

| Great CD and great music! The narrative from the musical enhances the CD because it tells enough of the story to recall the play with all of the great musical numbers. Had it for one month and have been listening to it every day! |

 Just not very good

| We had seen the Jersey Boys on TV and could not wait to get their CD as we love the oldies. They sang them all so well on the TV show too. The CD has some good tracks on it but way too much talking and just is not a very good CD. If they make one with just them singing the oldies we would be first in line to buy it. This CD is a huge disappointment and just not what we hoped for..... |

| I purchased the CD right after I saw the play as part of a national tour. I loved the music and wanted to be able to play it at any time. The music brings back a lot of memories and having seen the play, it has more meaning now that I know the story/history of The Four Seasons. But even if you have not seen the play, you will enjoy the music. |
