Fantastic Live CD Submitted on: 2009-05-08 |

| I fell in love with the John Butler Trio during a Qantas flight from LA to Melbourne. They were playing the video of the Sydney Opera House Max Sessions, the DVD included in this set, and I couldn't get enough. I picked up a copy of this cd later during my trip in the Sydney airport and it has been in constant rotation in my car for over a year now. The opening sequence of Treat Yo Momma is amazing and the cd just gets better from there. It is easy to listen to discs 1 & 2 straight thru repeatedly. You can really tell that the band connects with the audience to create a great concert atmosphere. |

a great live artist Submitted on: 2008-01-06 |

| I saw these kids in Nashville and was blown away! I could not believe a three man band could make so much sound. As soon as I got home I bought "Living 2001-2002" and as soon as I finished listening to it went ahead and ordered this album.....it is great! John Butler Trio must be listened to live and "Live at St Gallen" is a good place to do just that. |

| The DVD is fantastic. Seeing the trio play together is unbelievable. The 2 disc cd live show was really good too. I believe that the DVD is the better part of this deal. It is great quality for the price and I'm glad i bought it! I would recommend this to any JBT fan. |

one of the best live CD's Submitted on: 2006-05-31 |

| It's amazing how bands who know they are going to be recorded play to the recording and put on their best show. This was not the case for the John Butler Trio. Performing a live show, they were unknowing to the recording of the show for a CD. What you have here is just a band playing like they want to, to the audience and not the recording and this is what made this performance to be absolutly amazing, and believe me, it is amazing. Especially the 12 minute instrumental performance of "Oceans" and the amazing drum solo during the 17 minute playing of "Betterman". This CD truely brings out the talent of the Australian band and is a must for those who appreciate true music at its best. The DVD is astonishing as well but can only be played on Region Free DVD players or PAL. But this is a must for any John Butler Trio fan and for those who just appreciate a good live show. |
