Amazing! My heart is thumping a little faster in middle age! Submitted on: 2009-05-01 |

| This Rex Smith album is an amazing trip back in time to gentle afternoons in the 70's. He took my breath away in "Sooner or Later" and he still does today. It's quite an accomplishment to raise the pulse of a middle-ager and yet he manages it. I only wish my own children could know the life of a 70's tween, when life seemed so much less threatened and so much more innocent. Rex's vocals and exuberance bring those days back with hope and energy and give our kids a glimpse into what WE enjoyed way back when! |

What lousy singing.... Submitted on: 2008-09-08 |

| This sounds like a 70's album. It sounds like a reject performance from the Gong show. |

| Sooner or Later is one of my all time favorite movies and I was so glad to find that the soundtrack was finally released on cd. If you loved this movie as much as I did and especially the songs, you will love this cd. It is so nice to be able to hear "Simply Jesse" or "You Take My Breath Away" whenever I want. It makes me happy to listen to these songs again. I listen to this cd quite often. |

Trip down memory lane Submitted on: 2008-05-21 |

| WOW does this take me back. Loved the movie back more years ago than I care to remember. The songs were upbeat and fun for the time but what really blows me away is his cover of If You Think You Know To Love Me. His phrasing is, bar none, perfect. There's something about the way he sings this that I like even more than Smokie's. Great collection of songs that take you back to a simpler time when life was not so harried. |

Rex is Best Submitted on: 2008-03-26 |

| Rex Smith is the best singer of any teen idol. His voice is pitch perfect, his range stratospheric, and his energy boundless. He deserved to become a much bigger star than he did. This album is very well produced and well orchestrated. The title theme is luscious, the additional tunes are fun, sweet, upbeat and passionate, but the real surprise is the outstanding remake of the Marvin Gaye classic Ain't That Peculiar. |
