Why you hate The Game
Submitted on: 2009-11-24
The second album from The Game is good but not his best. I love the One Blood track and the trach with him and Kanye West Wouldn't Get Far. The Game is on very hot beats and his lyrics are very good as well. top 5 songs One Blood, Wouldn't Get Far, Why You Hate The Game, Let's Ride, and Remedy
Game's Best

the game's doctor's advocate to me is refreshing because rap like this is so hard to find because now days, the beats stay the same the whole time and aren't very musical. this album though has some hard beats, old school and some great kick back tracks. the game to me is actually better without 50 cent. hes got a good flow, its not the best but it catches your attention, his beats are just raw and i like how he uses a lot of soul type sounds in his tracks. overall i give the game an A+ on this album just like i would for his first one and lax. really look forward to seeing how consistent he can be because a lot of rappers have albums that leave you kind of dissapointed but so far...the game hasn't so hopefully he doesnt!

All the contents on this worked properly and there were no scratches on it. The product came in a fashionable manor and I am very satisfied with it.
The Game is on his Own

The Game is the most recent Westcoast rapper to go big and he is now one of the diving foces to the upbringing of west coast music again. Like Dr. Dre did in the early 90's is wat The Game is trying to do in the present and that is to make westcoast music appeal to the rest of the country and maybe around the world. The Game started to make it bug back in 2004 when he was still part of G-Unit with his debut single "How We Do" wit former boss 50 Cent then later leading up to the Games commerical debut album "The Documentary" which got critical praise for being one of the best rap albums from the West in a very long time...Then during 05-06 tensions began to rise between the two and eventually forcing The Game to leave G-Unit and also leaving Aftermath records including mentor Dr. Dre which was one of the worst things dat could have happened to The Game.

But Game rose to the challenge of making music wihtout Dr. Dre or 50 Cent, and he pulled it off well. The Game's second album "Doctors Advocate" is basically a thank you CD all dedicated to the one and only DR. DRE. The Albums has the same feel as "The Documentary because of the big-budget production by the likes of Just Blaze, Daz Dallinger, Scott Storch, J.R. Rotem, DJ Khalil, etc.. Also features a lot of guest appearances including Kanye West, Tha Dogg Pound, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Jamie Foxx etc. The Album is great from beginning to end but there is a drawback to the album, and that is The Games consistant name dropping in his lyrics. This is basically his style of rapping, almost every song he does has at least a list of 15 or moe names of other rappers and famous people in his rhymes and sometimes gets a lil annoying. But besides that the album and Games lyrics are top-notch and this album is definetly worth a buy.

TOP TRACKS
1) Why You Hate The Game - This is the best track by the Game of all time in my opinion, the games Lyrics are great and the beat is a problem produced by Just Blaze and also feat. Marsha the half of Floetry...Its a 9 minute long track but more than half of the track is a instrumental and Just Blaze talking, but its a great track nontheless.

2) Ol' English - is a back in the day track with game painting a picture of his past lifes with words. The song is about Games past situations and experiences. It also features a very talented singer called Dion.

3) Doctor's Advocate - the song is about Games feelings about the seperation between him and Dr. Dre and how much he misses working with him and how thankful he is to him...kind of gay but its a good track and really shows Games lyrical ability. Busta Rhymes plays the friend who is trying to help Game through his (Somewhat) tough time...very good song.
