Ghost and Friends Submitted on: 2009-11-02 |

| 2006 was a busy year for Tony Starks! He had already set the world on fire with Fishscale but now he has leftovers and its more hard-body than its predecessor. By that, I mean its gutter, mix-tape bangers like Miguel Sanchez and Blue Steel, spread all thru this album. Tales of the struggle from capable Theodore Unit MCs like Trife Diesel and Shawn Wigs are highlights too. Fans of Ghost's corner dicegame hiphop should cop this now! |

| MORE FISH is another tour de force, and exactly what hip-hop heads have come to expect from Wally Kingpin. Ghost is indeed back; fix your mirrors. |

Ghost gives you more on this release "More Fish". He's always had a skill for bringing the business each time he releases something new. This one is no different as he takes us through different issues that he goes through. This isn't simply more of his previous effort "Fishscale". It's just more of Ghostface Killah and all that he brings to the table not one for holding back for fear of reprisal. He smashes rappers not up on their game one minute then switches up his focus on women that are out just to get something on "Greedy B*****" Feat. Redman.
More Fish is just as essential as he previous effort. As it isn't everyday that a solo rap artist is able to continue to put out high quality material for this many years and be successful at it. |

this album is just straight great.
it gas nothing in common with fishscale - different beats, subjects, guests, no narrative arc - except for its sheer quality.
it is less cohesive than fishscale, but this one is an undeniable classic. |

Compared to Ghost's other cd's Submitted on: 2007-12-04 |

The first song on this cd alone is enough to buy the album.Ghostface actually beat Rakim on this one.Whoa!
No Ghostface cd is bad, none. This one was not his best and to me was at the bottom of his catalogue. His rhymes are on point, some of the beats are not clear and sound distorted--too much is going on with the beats. It is his crew that ruins this cd, too many guests. I liked the way he released the cd though. You have to remember this cd was released like 6 months after Fishscale and to that it's pretty good. Too many good songs to not put an album out, too few good songs for this cd to be better than any of his other cd's. |
