Delightfully Fulfilling Submitted on: 2009-10-01 |

I don't remember what caused me to buy this album but somehow it ended up in my cd collection but missed my IPOD. I was reorganizing my CDs and spotted the great band name. Popped it in the CD and have been relaxing in the spirit of the 70's and 80's harmonies that you can't seem to get in music anymore. And as if the the vocal harmonies are good enough, the guitars harmonize just as well.
Needless to say it is on my IPOD now and will be listened to until I know all of the words of all of the songs like the good old days.

Great Harmonies Submitted on: 2009-02-19 |

5 Stars for the Low Stars. Excellent harmonies, well crafted songs.
If you like the harmonies of the Eagles and Crosby, Stills & Nash, you have to get this. |

In the Stars Submitted on: 2009-01-02 |

| Low Stars' tight harmonies and melodious tunes create a great set of soft-listening tracks. The opening track, "Tell the Teacher," has a stately quality with the opening piano, "Every day I drive a car; Every night I turn the lights off & try to find you in the stars." It's a lovely track full of bittersweet memories. "Calling All Friends" bubbles with a catchy tune and a lively electric lead guitar, "I'm calling on high; I want to believe there's a way now; I'm too tired to pretend." Other strong tracks include "Can't Live Without Your Love," "Love, Love, Love" & "Mexico." At times, the band reminds me of Poco. Their tight harmonies remind me of the excellent CD Storyhill. "Low Stars" create a sweet musical confection that brings a smile. Enjoy! |

Wow, bad idea Submitted on: 2007-09-18 |

I bought this CD because I heard one song on the CD that played on the Accuradio listening post. I thought I liked it and, based on the song, figured there would be some good harmozing and such, a chill cd.
But, I was horribly surprised by the entire album. The lyric writing is pathetic, I was surprised anyone would ever produce a record with such weak lyrics - I mean, whoever did should be banned from this point on cause the lyrics are completely unoriginal, uninspired, and wholeheartedly unimportant.
After that debacle, I tossed the album at the nearest wall and thanked God I only spent 5 bucks on it. I'm planning on giving it to a musical friend of mine, as a joke.
I don't normally leave feedback on anything, but in this case it seemed vital, save your money and avoid low stars... |

| I had to get this through Amazon (US) as it is not available in the UK at all. I first heard of the Low Stars by catching the theme tune to a show called 'What about Brian' and wondered what else they'd done. Trust me you won't be disappointed by the rest of this album. Its not often I'll listen to every track all the way through on a CD these days but this seems to just glide by and I like every song on there. Brilliant work guys, can't wait to hear more. |
