A Terrific Album Submitted on: 2009-01-06 |

| I had no idea Diana Dors was a great song stylist. I thought this was going to be a camp item, but it turned out to be a very fine jazz album. Dors proves herself to be superb singer. |

Wow! Undiscovered Gem Submitted on: 2008-12-23 |

| This has quickly become my wife's favorite CD. Too bad they didn't use the original cover, though. |

Let there be movies and Princess Grace! Submitted on: 2008-12-13 |

| The perfect album for jazz buffs to unwind to with outstanding orchestrations by Wally Stott. Best numbers are: Let There Be Love, Imagination, and In Love for the Very First Time. Diana's vocals are outstandingly good and a surprise for me, since I don't believe I've ever heard her sing before. If anybody's ever heard this music on the radio it must've been on a different planet. That's really sad because her songs really could have made Top Ten charts and Grammy awards if they had recieved the airplay and attention that they deserved. It's also true the cover flap "doors" won't fold open, but who would want the CD to fall out, anyway? |

Botched Re-release Submitted on: 2008-03-02 |

| I was delighted to discover that this album had been re-released, and snapped it right up, despite the lack of adequate description, even though I own the original LP in Mint condition. I was interested in the additional cover poses by Miss Dors, and hoped that the original cover would be reproduced inside (it's not). If you're after this CD for the cover art, save your money. The manufacturers inexplicably put a big disc sticker on the cover to seal shut the "doors" despite the fact that the whole thing is shrink wrapped. It is impossible to remove the sticker without damaging the cover. The CD and sound quality are fine, so it IS a good (if overpriced) way to hear the complete album. |
