First of all like somebody in another review said, If you dont understand what he is saying then its not for you. BUT I think if you listen to this CD atleast 2 times all the way through like I did, then the 3rd time's the charm and it will be up there as one of your favorites. And watch his Video named "FOOLISH" or "DUNN DUNN" you understand. He's just a smooth guy and listen to what he is sayin.
SOME OF MY FAVORITE TRACKS THAT WILL LET YOU FEEL HIM ARE:
DUNN DUNN - (kool)
FOOLISH - (greeeat!!)
FEEL GOOD TO BE HERE - (my favorite on the CD, especially the line where he talks about his haters, grandma and Micheal Jordan being his Idol then dopeman lol)
AINT TELLIN YOU - (wow, crazy addictive beat "1 hun'ed I AM A G!")
THAT's SHAWTY LO - (Kids singing on the Hook)
EASILY I APPROACH - ("Im the man round here Capeiche'.. call me Big Bird like Seamseme Street" haha I love it)
LIVE MY LIFE - ( I love the guy singin at the end. kool)
COUNT ON ME - (you could ride to this joint, love song)
Wow thats almost the whole CD!! Trust me do what I said and u will be crazy for more. For some reason his CD has much more replay value than T.I's does. Talented guy. Peace from NYC.

This CD definitely lived up to my expectations. Well, I had a lot of these songs on mixtapes that I've bought over the last year. And I liked them all so much, I decided Shawty Lo was worth it and went out and bought the CD. The beats are a little on the slow side, not a lot of high-energy type of music, but its a good laid back album. The beats are at least catchy, and it doesn't make you mad when one gets stuck in your head. The lyrics are pretty good for the most part, nothing too groundbreaking, but nothing too annoying or repetitive.
Dont listen to the idiots giving this CD one star, most of them were written by people who either didnt even listen to the whole CD or are so clueless that they think Shawty Lo and Magoo are the same person, lmao! |
