| Levon Helm in my opinion was the best voice of the band.My favorite was their version of *The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.I really enjoyed this CD by Levon Helm.Just check out the sample tracks, although they don`t do justice to the actual CD. |

Classics Complimented by a Timeless Voice Submitted on: 2009-09-18 |

| Levon Helm has definitely weathered well - and his arrangements and performances on this album reflect that 100%. This is the best I've heard from Helm since 1975. |

| Levon Helm is creating music no one else is doing these days. If you loved "Music from Big Pink", you will love this "updated" Levon. His voice has a new sound after his throath cancer, and it really fits his Southern/Rock/Country sound. Love it or hate it, Levon is unique in the modern music scene. |

This was a gift and the receiver was thrilled!
The only questionable thing, is that on the cover it said it was a limited edition numberd record... We couldnt really find that .. and the only number that we did find was in the 4,000 range. I don't know if that's normal..
