The Early Years with a tighter sound Submitted on: 2008-11-19 |

I was a huge fan of the Casualties back in high school (not so much after that last album "Under Attack") In my opinion this is one of their best albums, this and "Die Hards".
This is their first studio album to be released (unless I'm wrong. If you have the Early Years cd, this is pretty much most of that stuff, re-recorded with a tighter sound.
I can't write anything that will not be biased, but in my opinion their earlier stuff has much more character than their later stuff. Also, this is the album that has most of their iconic songs (For the Punx, Ugly Bastard, City Life, Punx & Skinz, Two Face, Punk Rock Love, etc.)
If you like the early Exploited, and fast paced, high energy punk rock, you'll like this album |

Pretty Freakin Sweet... Submitted on: 2006-08-16 |

This is a pretty freakin sweet album if i do say so myself. Its just fun to listen to. Musically, its the same punk stuff with power chords and riffs. Lyrically, it sucks but who cares. I still love this album. There is a song in spanish called "Chaos Punx" and its in spanish because the singer is an Equadorian. They talk about being punks, drinking, hating police, rejected and so on. My favorite songs are: ugly bastards, city life, destruction and hate, chaos punx, police brutality, casualties. But I love the whole album. Get this if ur into 90s angry street punk.
Also get this if your a fan of: The unseen, a global threat, lower class brats, the exploited, the virus, cheap sex, or anything like that. |

It's a shame they don't have zero stars... Dang ol' shame. =[ Submitted on: 2006-08-11 |

Seriously though, has anyone else ever realized that 90's punk in particular just... sucks? I mean all punk is pretty terrible, but something happened in the 90's that decided to make it worse than it already was...
Hearing 3 seconds of this garbage makes you just wanna go out and blow away any stupid jerk you see sporting a mohawk. I mean really blow them away, like the guy at the beginning of Robocop.
Well, that's pretty much all I gotta say... |

It ain't brilliat, but it is fun! Submitted on: 2006-07-14 |

Despite the fact that everyone calls them "posers", "sell-outs" and "fashion punks", I decided to check these guys out anyway. Now, lyrically, they may not be that great, but at least they have passion and energy. And because the lyrics are fairly simple, these songs are quite fun to shout with when you're extremely bored. Plus, it's raw, fast, loud, and rude. This is everything most people are looking for in a punk rock album, and that's exactly what you get with this one.
Overall, it's really not that great, but it's very fun to listen to and these guys put on an excellent show! 4/5.
P.S., I prefer 'On The Front Line' over this one, so I would suggest getting that one first. |
