Just bought it LOVE it...drop the pretentious bs and just sit back, bob your head, and enjoy it...Great hip-hop is so rare these days, and Del is GREAT.
definitely his worst

ive been a huge del fan for 10 years or so, hes probably my favorite MC but this album is just not good. the few songs that are good still arent his best and the others just arent produced well. if youre new to Del dont start here or else you might ignore his past brilliant albums

I think people reviewed this too quick. After listening to this many times since its dropped, its just as good if not better than Del's first album. This is incredible. Smoke a beed to this, bump it load if you can. Album is really a banger if you ask me. Yeah its been 7 years but this album is much more cohesive than Both sides and really brings an album vibe like on No Need for Alarm. Love this album
Compared to whats on now and days....

Lets just say i just picked this one off the shelf at my job. Looked like a real hip hop joint to me when it caught my eye. I gave it a shot and bought it. Got home popped it in the cd player. Don't get me wrong i've heard of Heiro and i gotta say i like their music. I also bought another cd from del and it was called "The Elektra Years Bboy Handbook". In my opinion i think "The Elektra Years Bboy Handbook" was alot better then eleventh hour. Eleventh hour has some real desprate tracks that didn't seem to appealing ,but compared to whats being play in the main stream id prefer eleventh hour, which is why i gave it a 3 which to me means an average. Overall im not saying the whole cd is wack not at all there are some desprate tracks but there are a few that are good others drag and as far as the message goes wasn't really gettin one... not bad tho its an OK cd.
I Was Pleasantly Surprised...

After reading a good majority of the reviews of this album (including most of these user reviews here), I was pleasantly surprised when I gave Eleventh Hour my first listen. I really don't understand the problem...this is truly a good and decent album. It is certainly not deserving of 5 stars, nor is it necessarily on par with other work that Del has given us, but it definitely does not deserve all the negativity that I've seen attached to it.

I've been trying to understand and sympathize with a lot of negative reviewers after hearing it for myself. Perhaps since Del has raised the bar so high...hell, Del IS the bar...that if he puts out anything less than that it really stands out. Still, I can't understand why so many people seem to dislike it so strongly. I agree with the user that claimed that after a few listens it really grows on you. I usually brush suggestions like that off to the side - if something doesn't grab me on the first listen, there is a good chance I won't listen to it again...I think that's pretty normal - but not this time. This truly is an album that you actually need to listen to a few times to really feel it. When I first heard "Bubble Pop", I was a little worried that I would be dissapointed along with everyone else. But now, after just a couple of days, I really enjoy and get something out of this album, and from "Bubble Pop" especially - it's brilliant.

So, in anything, please listen and decide for yourself how you feel about this album, even if you've read a lot of negative reviews like I had.
