It is good Submitted on: 2009-08-03 |

| I have been sort of underwhelmed by some previous Ladytron submissions, but some of the songs on this one are quite the diddy. It feels very heavy on the organish synth, but it seems like a good amount. It normally takes a few tries for me to get in to one of their pieces, but a few I got in to right away. |

Three Point Five Submitted on: 2009-06-24 |

| "Velocifero" is one of those upbeat albums that's good to workout to- it's fabulous! It picks up more toward the end. This album has a different sound than their other records, I think it's safe to say "Volecifero" is more inspired by rock music. I Hear some similarity to t.A.T.u with this album, Which is not a bad thing at all. the biggest songs on the album IMO are "Predict The Day" & "Tomorrow". The opening track "Black cat" has an ice-cold beat with massive drums, The lyrics are in german though, I'd prefer if I could sing-along and know what I'm saying- it's still a hot track. "I'm Not Scared" "Burning Up" "The Lovers" & "They Gave You A Heart..." are tracks with really explosive beats, they're all High-energy, Hard and move at a quick pace! "Kletva" is the mellowist song on the album and it sounds like something Sinead O'Connr would do, it's in a class of it's own along with "Ghost" which has the NHL Rock-theme Bassline (If You're Familiar With that". Alot of songs sample this thump in todays Pop-Music P!nk's "So What" and Britney Spears "Womanizer" to name a few. The rest of the album leans more to a milder version of the songs I mentioned earlier. I've heard better albums, "Volicifero" still is quite listenable. |

Velocifero Submitted on: 2009-06-05 |

| Velocifero being Ladytron's 4th studio album and their 2008 release and the album was well received by the critics scoring 4 star reviews by Blender and PopMatters. Two singles has been released so far, these being "Ghosts" and "Tommmorow". The booklet contains no lyrics but we get a strange photo of the band members. I agree with the reviews and I also give this album 4 stars. 4/5. |

Not my favorite by Ladytron. Submitted on: 2009-05-27 |

| I like this album and I would never say anything against this band's talent and creativity as one of the few "pop" bands for mature music listeners. All of the Ladytron electroclash and new wave pop elements are here...but The previous album (The witching hour) was just so, so, so much better. All in all, I enjoy this recording (Velocifero) but it is only my third favorite album to date by Ladytron. |
