Classic Death Metal Submitted on: 2009-10-25 |

| Every song on this album is superb if you're into the genre. The new guitarist, Sodomizer, is a very good musician and comes up with some -awesome- riffs. Mikael's vocals and Axe's drumming are both out of this world. A decade from now metal heads will look upon this album with utmost respect, because it is a true classic. Do NOT miss this album. |

Now THIS is F'N DEATH METAL!!! Submitted on: 2009-08-14 |

| I love this album (except for the second song for some reason it just sounds generic and out of place). My brother who only really listens to rap loves it too. Its objectivly good, if you dont like it your WRONG and are going to look like the sorry souls on the cover!!! The breakdown in Iesous is so heavy I cant stand it. I have to bang my head until my eyes pop out no matter what i'm doing...even if I'm wearing headphones in the library doing calc 3 homework while everone stares at me and wonders if I'm haveing a seizure!METAL! |

Now Bloodbath is Death Metal. They have been around awhile now. If you like any death metal music, you have to listen to Bloodbath. Bloodbath is very brutal. The Fathomless Mastery is a great death metal CD. I think you should get this CD if you are ready to have a fun time moshing and going insane. Very brutal so beware.
My favorite songs on The Fathomless Mastery are:
1. Slaughtering The Will To Live
2. Treasonous
3. Iesous
4. Devouring The Feeble
5. At The Behest Of Their Death |

Bloodbath gets better on each album Submitted on: 2009-05-26 |

| After hearing Bloodbath's first two albums, the EP, and the first full length album, I was very hesitant about purchasing "Nightmares Made Flesh" I hated, I mean hated the first two albums, and even though Bloodbath has won over alot of death-metal fans, I found the music to be dull, and with such a great bunch of musicians I expected more then just a few simple powerchords, boring and uninspiring drumming, and lack of bass guitar. The brutality was there, but the band just didnt seem to have any sort of direction. I was suprised when I heard "Nightmares Made Flesh" It moved in a different direction. Better guitar work, better song writing, and even though not perfect (3Stars)it was a start. So here we go with "The Fahomless Mastery" Well, Bloodbath just proves they are getting better with each album. Forgot what you heard on the previous releases. This is a wonderful combination of Technical and straight up in your face Death Metal (Think Dismember meets Odious Mortem)Even though there are a couple tracks that I still dont care for, this band is going in the right direction. Considering all the reviews for previous albums, I am sorry to not see as many for this album, since I believe it is the best one. If you didnt like Bloodbath because of previous releases, fear not, you are about to hear a huge change in direction on this album, and its all positive...ENJOY |

...The Mockers.......... Submitted on: 2009-04-08 |

| Forget for a moment that Bloodbath is a super-group. Forget for another moment, the lyrical content is enough to raise the Popes' wrath for sure. Just listen to this album, and be in Death Metal awe...The first thing you might notice is that these guys can flat out play. Great riffs from stem to stern, no doubt. Some of the riffs are, once again, a nod to the Old School sound. But others....just wicked and all their own little devils of diabolical creativity. The percussion is balls to the wall, but doesnt' get redundant. The vocals are sung by one of the most talented performers and song writers out there in the world of Metal, and there you go. A pretty good start for the Fathomless Mastery, I think. This album also has that intangible that makes it a cut above for me-ambience. I found it to be dripping with evil, mavolent, and just nasty over-all, atmosphere wise, and it seems to come to an end like a long drawn out suffocating and suffering holocaustic death march into the yawning gates of Hell. Throw in lyrics that will make a lot of folks squirmish (or pissed off) and you have a superb Death Metal effort. Supergroup indeed. Forget about mocking the cross...what Bloodbath are really doing is making a mockery of just about every other Death Metal band out there right now. |
