 Great music, DVD does not work in USA

| I love the music and the live concert is just fine (I don't agree with other reviews on the quality of the sound)! However, the DVD does not work on my US system which is something I was really looking foward to seeing. |

I got this on the premise that it was region 0 and would therefore play in a normal US DVD player and could replace my region 2 copy. This is not, in fact, the case. The DVD cover makes it very clear that it is for regions 2,3,4,5 & 6. So putting that aside, I thought the CD might be okay - I know it's a great show. The CD is absolutely terrible - I haven't managed to get through the whole thing because the tracks I did try to listen to - "Hunting High and Low" and "You'll Never Get Over Me" both faded out halfway through the song. For example, "You'll Never..." cut out the whole part of the song where Anneli sings the countermelody - "I will get over you", so that's pretty much at least 2/3rds of the song.
I cannot believe that this was approved for release. It is atrocious. Do not waste your money.
The only reason it gets 2 stars is because despite all it's flaws, it is still a-ha, and i could never give them just one star. |
