 Another winning album from Haifa Wehbe

Yes, it's true that Haifa Wehbe doesn't have the most classical of voices, but her sugary if slightly weak and breathy vocals lends itself well to this genre of Arabic pop.
I really liked tracks 1 ,2, and the sultry and stellar "Mosh Adra Istanna" the most, the latter of which is also accompanied by a stylish music video (it can be viewed on YouTube if you're interested in hearing the song in its entirety).
These songs are a bit more multidimensional that Haifa's debut, and at first I was put-off by the Arabic "rap" sounds (I'm not a big fan of that genre), but I've slowly gotten used to it and now enjoy it very much. I love the songwriting, the music, and Haifa's voice in general -- they're always top-notch. |
