| One of the best soundtracks from Disney because it utilizes one of the best ballet scores in history. None other than Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and it makes grand it's statement working with the disney flair, and the genius of music score itself. Great entertainment, and whole new experiance apart from movie. Highly recommended for young and old, and whatever. |

| Once Upon A Dream has always been my favorite and of course the Tchaikovsky music is greatly liked as I love classical music and do not care for musicals. |

If you like Sleeping Beauty, then you know how integral the music is to the entire film.
That being said, there were a couple of trademark moments that didn't get onto the CD (the moments with Briar Rose in the forest singing with the birds and owl, and the moment after Once Upon a Dream where she runs away come to mind), but I'd say that otherwise the entire score is included.
The recording is of outstanding quality, especially for it being almost 50 years old! Each instrument is heard clearly, and the vocal tracks are in great shape as well. They did a fantastic job with their restoration! |
