This is a fantastic dvd!
I have only seen Hall and Oates once in my life, (because I live in Australia, and they don't come here often!) but this was like seeing them again live. Any fan of accoustic-rock-soul music will enjoy this release. The band is really tight and the 5.1 mix is excellent, not over-produced, just a very natural sound to it with the bass drum and snare really cutting through (which I love!). The only thing stopping me giving this 5 stars is the video. While the picture looks good, I don't like the images the "robot" cameras give. Its too easy to see when the director cuts to one of these cameras while panning, it gives a really "stuttery" effect. And there is a few of these cameras in use on this dvd, I guess because of the lack of space at the venue. But don't let that stop you buying this, it truly is a great dvd for Hall & Oates fans! |

Hall & Oates Fan Must Have

| If you are a fan of Hall & Oates, you must get this set. I saw them in Atlantic City a few weeks before this concert and loved the concert and them so I had to have this set. It's almost as good as seeing them live and they play all the great Hall & Oates that the fans love. It's also great to watch them play. I can leave the DVD at home to watch (almost daily) and take the CD's with me in the car. |

| I bought this set after seeing Hall and Oates in concert in a small venue. They were great at that concert, but it was relatively short, as concerts go. They mentioned this CD/DVD set to hear more of our favorites. I have their CDs from the 70's and 80's. Live at the Troubadour has all of their big hits, and even my favorites from their early years. Hall and Oates are fantastic in concert, the musicians are great, and the DVD is great to watch! |
