Great From Start to Finish Submitted on: 2009-10-14 |

| I have followed the career of Ms. Cole from the first cd, and have been listening to her work ever since. This cd stood out from the others however, she sounded mature and not as sad, and the songs varied from hip-hop to beautiful love songs. This is one of the few cds, that when I put it on, I have to listen to it straight through, and it works whether I am driving in my car or relaxing at home. After listening to this cd, all I can say "Please Don't Stop" making music, keep it coming Ms. Cole. |

New Keyshia Cole Fan Submitted on: 2009-08-24 |

| I bought this album, basically for track #8, Playa Cardz Right. Absolutely love that cut. I can't wait to see how she grows as an artist. As a side note, she would have been wonderful as Etta James in Cadillac Records (forgive me Beyonce fans.) I was born in the 60's so I am accustomed to real singers, not the synthesizer performers. Keyshia has a real voice and with maturity and good material, I believe she will be one of the stars of her generation. |

| I really enjoyed this new cd. I purchased her last one and thought that she would develop as a gifted artist. I was not disappointed! Truly a great addition to any music collection. |

| Product arrived in great condition. CD is not worth it. I was very disappointed. Two good songs. Her sophmore album is so much better. |

Nice to hear a good R&B album again Submitted on: 2009-07-02 |

i just got through sampling the album and i am definitely buying this cd. i loved it! it was up beat which is refreshing to hear, not all black music has to be blues... and then rhythm. I mean, has everyone forgotten the term "Soul"? Black music that is not depressing or about somebodys nasty sex fantasy. i am so sick of hearing "I want SEX NOW! NOW! NOW!" OR "you left me and i'm so sad," OR "you cheated on me and im so sad". I was on the verge of giving up on music all together. Anyways, I'm getting off subject
this album took me back the renaissance days of the early 1990's back when hip hop, soul, and r&b albums were good. the beats were fresh, and different from the usual hum drum stuff thats played out on the radios. i liked the lyrics some of which were retarded but not offensive or typical - i admit i wasnt sure about this album but i kept looking at it every i passed by a music store and finally decided to settle my curiousity. i hope that more people who are tired of listing to the same old tunes will check this album out- its a keeper and definately keyshias best so far, and i hope she doesnt go back to those depressing slit your wrist songs anymore. |
