One of the Best Compilations I've found Submitted on: 2009-10-30 |
| Every once in a while, there's a compilation album that I'm interested in, this was one of those compilations. I can honestly say that I love most of the songs on the album, this is an excellent collection of offerings from an excellent collection of artists, nicely done! |

El Caporal! Submitted on: 2009-10-26 |
| Yes, there is a lot of good music here, and of course some of it is rather underwhelming. But "Lenin" by Arcade Fire was terrific--and "El Caporal" completely mesmerizes. It makes me appreciate anew the musical genius of My Morning Jacket. This compilation is worth the money if only for that song! |

| Strongly recommended to all of you which like Americana and want a broad picture of the genre of today. A double CD with both new and wellknown artists, everone can hopefully find a new favourite |

Not what I thought Submitted on: 2009-08-10 |
| I felt it did not represent the best music or best artists in the field of independent music. I also did not appreciate the slogan they used "play safe". |

Abysmal Submitted on: 2009-08-03 |
| I really thought that this was going to be a great compilation, seeing as there are a lot of great artists listed here. I guess I should have given it a listen before I picked it up at the store. The stuff that was good was very good. The stuff that was bad (75% of the songs) was horrid. |
