 It had to grow on me

| Truly, truly this cd had to grow on me. I first listened to it about twice and took it out the cd player and didn't play it again until a friend spoke of how much she loved it. I said really, well maybe I need to listen to it again. I did and it has grown on me. I have everyone of India's cds and I won't stop buying them just because this one wasn't my fav. However she did redeem herself with me when I saw her in concert this summer and she was awesome singing and dancing in the rain, swating the mosquitos, and fire flys. India is an awesome artist and she has a beautiful spirit. Her lyrics are what I love most about her music. |

| This is a great CD, I have all of her CD's and she continues to perfect her style while still being true to her music....I love, He heals me, Long Goodbye, River Rise, Chocolate High, and Therapy. Give it a listen, you will love it. Keep doing your thing India... |

Damn, I own every India.Arie CD and they are actually all 5star efforts, even though I gotta say that her first CD "Acoustic Soul" has to be my favourite.
India's long awaited Vol.2 sets off right where Vol.1 left us two years ago. Great mellow guitar driven tracks with meaningful and soulful lyrics. This is a CD to relax to! Check out "Chocolate High w/ Musiq", "Ghetto", "The Cure" and "Long Goodbye", which are probably the best tracks on this great soul CD. Go on girl.
