American Idol to Teen Angel to Ego Submitted on: 2009-11-17 |

| We saw Mr. Hicks performing in Grease over the weekend. He had one song (in his "Teen Angel" role) then came out and performed one of his songs immediately after the cast curtain call. That song was fairly enjoyable and inspired us to purchase his album after the show. We listened to the CD on the way home and have not yet found a song that we really enjoyed. We think he signs pretty well but needs to either find a new producer or better songs. This album will probably not inspire us to pursue future work by this artist. |

Poor Taylor Submitted on: 2009-10-03 |

| Poor Taylor Hicks..I can't sing a lick, but he's worse than me..I really don't believe he dances well either..I recently watched a David Foster ETV special that had Katherine McFee singing several songs.. She must feel sick thinking about American Idol.. I know Simon Cowell, Paula and Randy could not believe their ears when Taylor won..Whats happening to voting in America? |

Brilliant songwriting, beautiful singing Submitted on: 2009-06-29 |

| I think Taylor Hicks is one of the most underrated singer, songwriter and entertainer in the business. While is concert venue is not a 20,000 seat arena, his House of Blues concerts have been phenomonal. I love all of his music but this album is by far the best!! |
