This Cd Will Make You Go Crazy In A Good Way! Submitted on: 2009-06-11 |

| Just from the first song on this cd, Inhuman Affliction I knew right from then this is my Whitechapel for 2009. I'm not saying Oceano sounds like Whitechapel, I am saying Oceano has the potential to be the Death Metal cd of the year. This band prepares me for destruction, and a must see live band in 2009. The cd will have you going out of your mind. This is a must have cd of 2009. If you don't have this cd you are missing out on the Death Metal cd of 2009. |

One reason to listen to Deathcore Submitted on: 2009-05-22 |

Yes for all you deathcore haters, another deathcore band has come onto the
scene to lay waste to everything and everyone. The one exception to this is Chicargo's Oceano seem to have everything right.Lead by Adam Warren's brutal voice,Andrew Mikhail and Jeremy Carroll's shredding riffs,Daniel Terchin pounding double bass drumming, and finally Jason Jones droning bassline this band shows promise. The one thing that may turn people off would be how at some points Depths sounds a(n) awful like This Is Exile from Whitechapel.Don't let that turn you off from this metal gem by this talented young group's masterful debut. |

Deathcore at it's finest Submitted on: 2009-05-15 |

| I have been listening to metal for over 25 years. I know when fads come and go. Deathcore is at its height and probably will be for many years to come. Oceano is what I guess "deathcore" should be. They have the hardcore/metalcore elements with the complete death vocals on top of it. This band is BRUTAL. I have heard other bands call themselves brutal. This band walks the walk. If you buy this album with the intention of not liking "deathcore" then you are in the wrong genre. Go buy Slipknot or Lamb of God ( both good bands). Hands down a winner along with Suicide Silence. |

WILL MAKE YOUR SUBWOOFER HAVE AN ORGASM Submitted on: 2009-05-03 |

| VERY GREAT EFFORT BY OCEANO! DEPTHS IS A VERY DOUBLE BASS DRUM FRIENDLY DEATHCORE ALBUM. THESE GUYS ARE SOMEWHAT NEW TO THE SCENE SO THERE WERE VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS ALBUM. PLUS HERE ON THE WESTCOAST THIS ALBUM IS PRETTY EASY TO FIND AND PACKAGED FOR $10 BRAND NEW AT OUR RECORD STORES. WHICH MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO TRY IF YOU HAVENT YET HEARD THEM. THINK IMPENDING DOOM MEETS THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD. BOTTOM LINE: A DEATHCORE FANS MUST HAVE CD. |

what are these guys angry about? Submitted on: 2009-04-13 |

| Oceano is a new band on the Earache roster, but don't that fool you. these guys are out to blow you away. I have heard of deathcore, but never experienced it until today. the drums sound totally inhuman, as if Robocop were playing them. although it is a spoiler, the DVD shows you what the band does. the metal community experienced Job For A Cowboy, now let it experience Oceano. the question on my mind is what is the next deathcore band to come out of the woodwork? |
