Awesome Debut By A Disney Boy Submitted on: 2009-09-12 |

I'm not hugely into the music of all the Disney stars, though even at 35 I find the shows to be entertaining, since there aren't many family sitcoms on anymore.
Mitchel's debut CD is one I can recommend to people of all ages. Its good for the pre-teens because he is who he is, Oliver Orken from Hannah Montana, but he has music in his blood, after all his brother is in Metro Station and the talent has seemed to rub off on his baby brother.
The songs Speed Dial, Hey, The In Crowd and Shout It are infectious and fun, but the best part is the lyrics aren't so bubble gum that the parents and any random listener would feel odd listening to them.
Definitely an album worth having, by one of the younger set. And now I feel really old. |

Everybody Has the Right to Try Submitted on: 2009-07-25 |

This is not a surprise. It seems that actors all want to sing and sometimes it's a good thing and sometimes it's not. In this case it's not bad but not good either.
This cd is not a memorable moment for anyone over the age 12. Preteens may enjoy this for the simple reason he's "oliver" on Hanna Montana.
Not one song has made me want to listen to it again. I am sure some of you will find the song "hey" and "speed dial" to be nice and enjoyable. Overall I will say if you are looking for something to non offensive and and that won't annoy you if your child plays this over and over this is for you. |
