Thanks for setting the record straight Britney! Submitted on: 2009-11-02 |

| This is a good documentary to air. Its nice for people to get the real idea of Britney. People said "she's just crazy" but if you watch this, you'll regret saying that. This girl has been to hell and back! I couldn't even handle some of the stuff like she does. It would never like to be followed 24/7 by paparazzi. She even said when she shaved her head, she didn't know what to do with her life, she lost her boys and she got a divorce. I'd probably shave my head too if all that happened to me. This movie lets you see the REAL Britney Spears. I'm glad you made a comeback Britney, we were rooting for you! Love you Brit. |

Get To Know Through Britney The Real Her Submitted on: 2009-09-27 |
|
This authorized film was a way Britney wanted to express her inner thoughts because she felt there were misconceptions about her that she wanted to clear up--a way for the fans and world to get to know the real her. On the eve of the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards Britney Spears invited a film crew into her life. The film is about the 60 days that followed. Britney felt there were things said about her that weren't true and she says, "There is a lot that people don't know about me that I want them to know."
For the first time it's Britney opening about her life troubles, ups and downs, why she shaved her head, how it feels to live the life of a famous celebrity, her struggles to not loose hope by keeping a positive outlook, her daily living with friends, her dad cooking her grits, Larry Rudolph and Adam Leber discussing her comeback. From Britney having make-up put on to her putting make-up on friend you get to see some heart felt touching moments revealed in the most touching way other stars would not dare try! She displays courage despite adversity, strength despite some bad performances, as she explains how you grow and learn from your mistakes. It gives you a life lesson to be better, stronger, and wiser. Unfortunately, she mentions she has grown up "big time" because she trusted people and opened up her guard due to loneliness. She lost her way, lost focus, lost herself, --she wanted to rebel. She wanted to feel free and that's what got her into problems. By letting the people in her life that she shouldn't have she paid the consequences--"I'm having to pay for it for a real long time" but you learn from them. Andre Fuentes talks a lot and is a definite inspiration to hear as he expresses Britney's coming back to life ---her light is back!
There's all kinds of footage to see from her receiving awards, Womanizer Video Shoot, Circus Video Shoot, to much more. This will make the hardest of hearts open up and realize that the Hollywood dream is not as easy as it seems and that fame, money, and status are key but not what make you happy. Britney feels her work, kids, and dedication keep her going. She still has dreams, passions, and keeps her inspirations high. Madonna is also seen embracing with her as she is greeted. Also, there is a clip with Britney in an elevator and on stage with Madonna [Sticky & Sweet Tour] where she stated, "Britney B****".
From her experiences of Hell in the darkness of the darkest she picks herself up and gathers her strength to possess more power, more pizzaz, more fire, and a comeback never before seen by any other artist alive after such tragic emotional turmoils. It's admirable, inspiring, and definitely an example of the strong woman who can become even more powerful after a slammed fall, it's an example of how a man or love can't destroy your dreams to make it, and a true survival inner nature that only a true diva in the making can posses. This DVD will definitely explain many questions people may have, it will give critics a better idea of the hype, and it will bring new fans to really see who she really is: a fighter, an entertainer, a fortress, a beautiful person inside and out, and the most talked about superstar ever!

it was interesting Submitted on: 2009-09-12 |

| it was interesting but surprised how little time she spent with her sons. She needs to disappear and let her boys grow up with their mum away from the cameras like Demi Moore and Bruce Willis did with their kids. |

It could have been better Submitted on: 2009-09-10 |

| This was a different side of Britney Spears. This documentry was too short in my opinion it really didn't go too deep into anything that was going on with her. It gave just enough info, but not too much info. |

Britney back to her best! Submitted on: 2009-06-08 |

The film follows Britney Spears on her comeback trail and delivers what it promises - a no holds barred glimpse into her inner world where no question is dodged.
It's a really honest film and Britney looks as pretty as her early days before all the crazy stuff. She is also a lot happier and tries to reason and explain her past mistakes. In her words, she isn't looking for pity, just a little understanding.
Britney really is in great shape, back to her former self. And she's actually quite fun when you get to know her more as this intimate portrayal of her private life reveals.
Well done, Britney! Welcome back!
Highly recommended! |
