Not as good as I expected Submitted on: 2009-10-12 |

| The first song set a tone of anticipation for me, with it's upbeat melody. But as I listened to the rest of the album, I felt let down, as none of the songs that followed lived up to the promise. I am still waiting for a song to rival the brilliance of "The Way". |

Please Do Not Support Fastball Submitted on: 2009-08-02 |

| This EXTREMELY talented band is unfortunately one of many that contributed to a CD called Stop Handgun Violence, a benefit album for a "charity" group of the same name. One of the avowed purposes of the organization is to infringe upon the rights and freedoms of the American people. Please do not support any band that works to make the American people less safe and less free. |

Very possibly their best album so far (two after their "Greatest Hits" collection) Submitted on: 2009-06-27 |

This is definitely my favorite album of 2009 so far. I have all of Fastballs CDs except the first one (just ordered) and I think this one is their most consistent and quite probably their best to date. It may not be their most varied but I think this is partially because they've figured out what they do well and focused on that.
To me, this album has a "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul" feel to it and is in league with those great albums without sounding like they are trying to imitate or rip off the Beatles. I hadn't thought of the Simon & Garfunkel similarity on "The Malcontent" until I read the above but that is correct as well.
If you like great harmonies, great hooks, and some excellent songwriting, order this now, and prepare, though it may take 2 or 3 listens to really dig in, to enjoy it. A lot! |

I believe without a doubt, Fastball has produced their finest music ever here. The songs are very thought out. Lyrics great. Very Melodic. Little White Lies and Modern World are my facorite tracks.

| A long overdo and much anticipated album from Fastball. A fun collection of songs that highlight both Miles and Tony's voices, styles and strengths. Miles also adds his hand to the production chair and does a fine job. If you remember the Way, you owe it to yourself to pick up Little White Lies. |
