| 4.5 stars. I keep listening to this one: at home, in the car, sometimes even at work-- although it is far from just background music. For me, it mixes the ECM-style world-jazz of albums like Thimar or Madar with the lightness and swinging bounce style that you might hear from Sonny Rollins (on the track "Bing" for example). There is a good sense of balance and space, without it being too spacey. Some of the tunes wander a bit, so it falls short of 5 stars for me. |

Cuenta con la participación de Andy Sheppard en saxo, Aril Andersen en percusión,John Parricelli en guitarra, Eivind Aarset en guitarra y Kuljit Bahmra en tabla.
Sheppard ha sido bien conocido en sus giras con Andersen y Bjornstad, dos íconos del sello ECM.
Su disco actual es pleno en agradables líneas melódicas, bien coloreadas por el contraste entre las guitarras y el saxo.
