| Mat has changed a bit in this beautifuly arranged cd, no rap theory just precison inserted lyrics echo,and riffs you hear when listening in depth. What a 5 star job cant wait until the next one arrives. Everybody who is into the newer music even at my 51 year old age will love this one. Every song is a hit and a hit to the heart.. Thank you Mat Kearney.. Please keep on it.. |

| The whole album is great to listen to I have been burning up my Zune with this over and over. Songs are nice to sing with and strike an emotional chord. |

 A Step Up From His Debut

| In all fairness, I only put this album as a 'step up' because he has left off the pseudo-rap that plagued a small portion of his debut CD. This release is completely on-par with his debut, so if you liked his first CD you will like this one. I only give him 4 stars because he is a 4-star artist; he is a solid addition to any music collection, and if you have not bought either of his albums you can certainly start with 'City of Black and White' first. |
