Great record...I ended up ordering the vinyl by mistake. They had a 'download' option so I kept it, but I think the vinyl is noticably muddier sounding than what I have heard elsewhere from this recording. I think my ears are used to the digital CD sound.

| This is one of those albums that is good the whole way through. You're not stuck with one or two hits and a bunch of junk. Just a happy pop album the whole way through. |

a good band, but not original at all, following in the foot-steps of bands like the strokes, the killers, interpol, etc....... take a trip back to the late 70s, early 80s, they called themselves "the cars" it was good stuff and still is. i give props to phoenix......... 1901 is straight-up "the cars"

| One of my favorite albums of 2009 by far. Got to see them at the Greek Theatre and it was just perfect. Catchy vox, catchy guitars, catchy drums. CATCHY. |
