K'Jon is awesome Submitted on: 2009-11-18 |

| I think this style of music is appropriate and is easy listening. His voice reminds me of BeBe Winans. My favorite song is the Ocean which is why I bought the album. I liked the songs and I think everyone will be surprised by this album. |

"I Get Around" gets two stars Submitted on: 2009-10-26 |
|
| Like many people, I heard "On The Ocean" as well as "This Time" and wondered who is this K'Jon? So his album has arrived and it's called "I Get Around". Before you start asking questions, the title track is about how he is happy to get some attention and airplay after years of paying dues...sorry, it's not about sex. So I got the album and here's the problem...while he can do ballads effortlessly, when he does the uptempo songs, he just sounds awkward and out of his element. The songs "Doin' It Big" and "What's Really Good?" are songs for the clubs that sound rather pedestrian. I wanted to like the album, but only the singles and the ballads stand out. Hopefully, he will do better on the sophomore effort. |

Welcome to a new soulful balladeer. Submitted on: 2009-10-05 |

| Welcome to newcomer to the music scene, K-Jon. Just what today's music needed a new soulful balladeer. When I first heard the hit single, On the Ocean, I thought it was BeBe Winans. Who knew it was some new dude called K-Jon? Who can't identify with a song with a message...undoubtedly we can all can relate to the idea of good fortune looming just over the horizon. Two great ballads on this cd. |

| The Return of smooth and soothing sounds of soul.K'Jons I get around takes you on a journey into musical interludes. The passion that he get's across is easily felt in the tracks.Obviously his smash hit"Ocean"is the centerpiece of the CD,however tracks like "This Time"and "After The Club"are great examles of his R-B potential. Not many of the tracks if any disappoint if you enjoy smooth ballads.I highly recommend this CD to all lovers of smooth R-B!! |

Great Quality Sound Submitted on: 2009-09-22 |
|
| I purchased CD after hearing the first track "On The Ocean" and I knew that K'Jon had quality vocals. K'Jon vocals are a cross beween Carl Thomas, and Tyrese. His vocals are much more refined and he has more of a wider vocal rage than Thomas. On his urban tracks he gives you the vocal swagger of Tyrese. My favorite track is "On The Ocean" of course. My second best is "On everything" which demonstrates his unique sound and power. The CD is a mixed of classic R&B and Urban upbeat contemporary tunes and a few sultry ballads. The CD is definitely worth purchasing. After hearing the CD, you will be enthused more than once or twice. |
