Customer Reviews of This Album/CD |

Was really excited...but this is pretty lame :( Submitted on: 2009-11-06 |

Love Felix, have not been on his stuff lately, heard Kickdrum on KCRW one day and was like "hellsyeah, I needs that!"
just finished listening to the album and I should have just stuck with Kickdrum. It's quite boring, to be honest. He's had some boring stuff mixed in his previous albums, but this one has 10/12 boring tracts that I will be deleting from my playlists. If anything, I'd suggest buying the MP3 singles for "Kickdrum" and "Plastik Fantastic". "Do Not Try This At Home" is OK, too. |

classis Felix!! Submitted on: 2009-10-13 |

| The cd started off with classic Felix tracks, smart synthy beats with cheeky lyrics. thoroughly enjoyable. and then I got to the tracks Elvi$ and LA Rave... they made me go mental, I heard these dropped @ We Love Space, good purchase. |

New Housecat Album! Submitted on: 2009-09-02 |
|
| I Can't Believe that there has only been one review for this new CD! Where all the Felix fans? Are you guys out there? This CD is HOT! My favorite tracks are We, Do Not Try This At Home, and Turn Me On A Summer Smile. Like all of Felix Da Housecat CDs there are a few songs that get on my nerves (Kick Drum and Elvi$) and I was a little disapointed that there wasn't a lot of different vocals like he had had on past albums, but besides that IT'S THE NEW FREAKIN' FELIX DA HOUSECAT CD! BUY IT! |

FDH Redefining Electro AGAIN Submitted on: 2009-08-26 |
|
Felix Da Housecat is always reinventing himself to produce cutting edge beats but somehow manages to keep his signature sound.
He calls this album pure "pop" and most songs do have some catchy choruses like "We All Wanna Be Prince" and "Spank U Very Much." But there are also some wonderful tracks like "Elvi$" and "Kickdrum" that sound something like a computer dropping acid- and these are the tracks I am most impressed with.
This album sets a high bar for electro in 2009.
