This Album Kills !!!! Submitted on: 2009-11-23 |

| If you are a fan of Shadows Fall you will love this CD. It simply kills. Don't listen to the haters, they're stupid and have no idea what they're talking about. The best I've heard from them so far. Donais and Bachand sound like they are on a mission to shred your face off. |

Great but... stupid packing Submitted on: 2009-11-15 |

This is a great album, haven't listened to all of it yet but still amazing. Am I the only one that had trouble getting the CD out of the case, though? I bought it and tried to take it out in my friends car and broke the CD, luckily I bought the 2 dollar warranty and got a new copy the next day, only to break the case.
When I broke the actual CD it was like seeing collapsing stars or huge explosions in old action movies. This was truly a sad day... :( |

Best of '09 Submitted on: 2009-11-14 |

| There is no other group in Metal as versatile as SF. Totally brutal and hauntingly beautiful at the same time. They can simultaneously crush your skull and have you singing along with over the top vocal harmonies. This is music for metal fans who can appreciate a mixture of every metal genre. They sound like Metallica, Slayer, Nevermore, Dokken, and a helping of Gothenburg put into a blender and mixed to perfection. If you are used to one dimensional music, you will not like it. If you appreciate dynamic, expertly played HEAVY music, this will blow your mind! SF are what Metallica should sound like after 25 of practice. The best Metal release of '09. |

| Its nice to see the band back in action. This just and overall great compilation. The chemistry of the band brings forth a great sound and powerful lyrics. To say the least, this is simply just music at its finest. |

Make sure you get the version with the cover of "Bark at the Moon" Submitted on: 2009-10-27 |

| Another solid effort by Shadows Fall - lots of musicianship with a lot of diversity. Make sure you get the version that has the 3 cover songs, because they are excellent. It has been a long time since I've heard a band do a cover as good as these guys do Ozzy's "Bark At the Moon", and I also loved hearing them cover Nuclear Assault. other highlights include "King of Nothing" with guest vocals by Randy Blythe of Lamb of God, "The Taste of Fear" and "War". |
