| There is only one Kenny Rogers. Although Kenny's career has slowed down considerably since the late 1980's , he is still considered an icon in both the country and pop music field. His collection of industry awards has gone unmatched and he has left and impressive mark on his fellow performers and fans. This CD spotlights one of the things Kenny has done best; sing duets. Among the many performers he collaborates with on this recording are Tim McGraw, Sheena Easton, Ronnie Milsap, and the legend Dottie West with whom he had his greatest duo success with until the early 1980's. The highlight here are his duets with fellow friend Dolly Parton where they perform their classic "Islands In The Stream" (widely considered to be Roger's biggest single) and "Real Love". All the songs have been previously released with the exception of "Tell Me That You Love Me", his new duet with Dolly. This CD is also part of Kenny's new boxset called "The First 50 Years" which is a 3 CD collection. |
